To Our Nektarines,

The GoFundMe is going very well! Because of all your generous donations we have already started in the Studio recording basic tracks. Unfortunately, this utilizes the money very quickly and we need to do another big push. We really do need your help to finish. We are trying to finish the album in time for the June tour.

We've HEARD from our Nektarines from around the world and we are LISTENING!!

As many of you already know, we recently lost our beloved family friend and drummer, Ron Howden. We thank all of you for reaching out to us whether it was in person, texts, emails or posts. It's all been very heartwarming.

What you may not know is that Nektar was writing new music for over 3 years and preparing to make the new album as we promised you. Days before Ron's passing, he was jamming with all of us at Ryche's house on the new music and we were all very happy with the results. Therefore, we have decided to push forward with this new album after listening to you, the fans, sharing with us how much you would like us to do that.

We are in the process of looking for a new drummer as Ron wanted us to carry on. His shoes will be very hard to fill.

BREAKING NEWS: While attending ProgStock Festival in 2018, Ron spoke backstage with Jay Dittamo, who was playing with “Ryche Chlanda’s Flying Dreams,” and told him “If there ever was a time I could not play, I would like you to take my place because we have similar styles.” Jay’s response was “This is what you live for. Get better and play some great shows.” Fast forward 5 years to the present time - We recently auditioned several drummers and we decided Jay Dittamo fit into the band best. Could you call this “Devine Intervention?” Certainly, with Ron now watching over us.

Now - here is where you can help us. We need to complete the new album and could use your support. We are trying to raise money to help us with recording, production and touring costs which have become very expensive. We would certainly appreciate any amount that you can donate to this wonderful project. Whether it's $5, $25, $50, $100 or whatever you are comfortable with to assist us.
