Remembering the Amazing Eric Beale

This fund has been established in memory of Eric Beale to support his son Eian, a sixth grader at PS1.
Eric passed away on February 18th, 2021. Eric made friends quickly. He was smart, funny and talented. He was kind, responsible, helpful and excelled in his commitment to his relationships and responsibilities. He got a kick out of connecting with the world. Eric's was a soul that was good at being human.
Many of us knew Eric in his role as a father and connected with him through the communities of his son's school and extra-curricular activities. In the words of Jennifer, Eric's wife:
"Eric was a lovely person. He loved being part of the PS1 community and sharing his passions with many of the friends he made on campus. That included providing tech support for all things Apple, teaching Eian’s classmates how to ski, and encouraging everyone to ride in Ciclavia. Most importantly, being a dad to Eian was the joy of his life. He was my dear partner and best friend for 25 years."
My name is Jesse Aldana. I have put this page together with the help of Lily Ng. We both met Eric when our kids were all kindergarteners together. These funds will support Eric's family as Eian graduates from sixth grade this year and transitions to a new school.
All funds collected will be directly available to Jennifer and Eian.
