Remembering Susan Smith

Susan Smith was my friend.  She was one in a million. Her sweet smile lit up a room and she always made everyone feel important.  Susan was selfless and loved on a deeper level than most.  For those of you who knew Susan you knew that she battled long and hard against the disease of alcoholism. Susan passed yesterday and Heaven gained an angel. For those of you who have struggled with this disease or the life of someone you loved has been affected, you can relate. I don't understand and that's okay. I do know that God is always working for our highest good, even in our darkest hour. If you knew Susan, you knew that she loved her son Luke and his girlfriend Laney more than anything. The purpose of this campaign is to help Susan's son with any expenses that he may have in paying tribute to his beautiful mother.  Please,  donate what you can to celebrate our dear friend's life.  Let's think of ourselves less like Susan!
