Remembering Susan and her love of Family & Life

My name is Monique Anaya, Susan’s daughter in law. I was lucky enough to find my soulmate and marry him. But I was even luckier to marry into a family that loved me immediately, especially Susan.

Susan, mom, left this earth suddenly and very unexpectedly on Thursday evening. To say it was a shock is completely understated.

Mom was the matriarch of the family. She managed all our gatherings and get togethers. Sometimes for 10 but many times for 25 and more. The more the merrier. Her home was always welcoming and inviting as well as embracing any neighbor, cousin, friend, friend of a friend, etc.

At this time, the Anaya family is requesting any donation you can provide during this monumentally difficult time. The unexpected costs of funeral expenses weighs heavily at this time. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be greatly appreciated as we struggle to accept our mom is gone.

We truly never thought this would be needed and we humbly thank you for anything.

Please continue to pray for Manuel, Michael, Matthew, Alyssa, Alex, Mitchell and Marcus along with with her grandchildren, and her mom, and all her family as we continue to try and navigate this world without her.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know Susan just a little bit. If you never met her, you missed out on someone special. If you were lucky enough to meet her and break bread with her, your life is that much more blessed because of her.
