Remembering “Sugar” Shane Massie – A Friend, Golfer, and Light to Us All

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our dear friend and golfing buddy, “Sugar” Shane Massie, who left us on July 13 due to complications from kidney issues and sepsis.

Shane was more than just part of our golf group — he was a positive energy that everyone loved. His infectious laugh, warm smile, and boundless positivity made every round better, every story funnier, and every one of us feel like a friend. He brought joy to everyone he met, both on and off the course.

This GoFundMe was created to help cover the costs of funeral arrangements and to support Lau and the rest of Shane’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a way to honor Shane’s memory and show appreciation for the joy he gave us all.
