Remembering Stephanie Wainless

My name is Chris Aylward and I'm starting this fundraiser for my best friend, Patrick Hoar, who tragically lost his fiancee, Stephanie Wainless, on April 4, 2022. Stephanie was out for a run three weeks ago when shortly after, she was found unconscious by several good samaritans who immediately called EMS. While what caused the tragic incident is still unconfirmed, Stephanie fought for as long as she could, but she is now at peace.

 

Stephanie was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a fiancee and a great friend to many. She is the sweetest most selfless person we know and she will be missed dearly by family and friends every single day. She loved her job working as a speech pathologist for children. She loved hiking, traveling and living life to the fullest. Stephanie and Patrick had been planning their wedding for April '23 in Richmond, VA. We will always love & miss you Steph; you were taken too soon and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.

 

Stephanie had just given birth to their beautiful baby son, Grey, now 4 months old. Patrick faces a challenging road ahead as a single parent, but he will always have the unwavering support of his sisters, family and friends. We hope that this fundraiser will not just help offset the funeral arrangements or the ICU medical bills but also help support baby Grey.
