Remembering Spencer: A Community's Loss

On June 6th, our lives were turned upside down by learning our daughter was involved in a serious car crash. The Tulsa Police Department knocked on our front door. On June 8th, our world was shattered when we lost our beautiful daughter, sister, and friend, Spencer. She was just 21 years old. Her life, full of hope, laughter, and so much love, was taken far too soon, leaving behind a family and community who loved her more than words can ever express.

Spencer was a bright light in every room she entered. Whether she was helping a friend through a hard time, coaching young kids with kindness and encouragement, or just being her goofy, vibrant self, she made every moment better. She had dreams, plans, and the kind of heart that made the world a better place just by being in it.

Now, instead of preparing for the next chapter of her life, we’re planning a memorial no parent should ever have to plan. This GoFundMe has been created to help us cover the unexpected costs of funeral and memorial services, grief counseling, and to create something lasting in Spencer’s honor—whether that’s a bench in her favorite park, or another way to keep her spirit alive.
