Help Give Sofia Ciel a Loving Memorial

Sofia Ciel, or Sofia Leal, was a talented artist in the furry community. Universally warm, loving, and kind, she was a bright spot in the life of everyone who knew her. Her tragic and unexpected passing was a shock to us all.

Now, we must look to those who fondly remember her and ask for their support in this most difficult of times. Sofia and her partner were by no means wealthy people. Her partner is disabled and relied on Sofia for most of her support. Funeral costs are absurd for even the most basic services. We'd like to raise enough funds to allow her partner and the small found family she had in Albuquerque to give Sofia a proper memorial, even if it's a small one, and to help with some of the medical bills and legal expenses left behind in her absence.

We've had to retain a lawyer to make sure that it's her wife and not her father, who's been uninvolved in her life for some time, who's allowed to make the decisions and arrangements for her, and that's increased the amount of funding we need.
