Hello,
     My name is Rachel Phillips.  I have started this fundraiser to help my niece Jade Ekoes, her boyfriend Kevin Cabrera Navarro, and their baby Skyla Rose Navarro to help with her medical and funeral costs.
    Baby Skyla was born on June 11, 2020.  She came into the world 8 weeks premature.  Skyla only weighed 2 pounds and had to stay in the NICU for 5 weeks.  She needed help breathing from a ventilator and around the clock medical care.  Skyla was a fighter and grew stronger everyday.  Skyla brought her parents immense joy and her smile brightened the lives of those around her.
    On August 8, 2020 baby Skyla passed away in her sleep.  Our hearts are broken.  Words cannot express the sadness over the loss of Skyla.
