Last year we lost our strong, brave and amazing son and brother, Shane, to cancer. It has been an incredibly difficult year and we miss him so much every single day. Shane’s courage and kindness touched everyone around him and his memory continues to inspire us.

We are forever grateful for the care and support Shane received from Milford Hospice and for the compassion shown to us as a family during this difficult time. To honor Shane, and to give back to the incredible team that supported him, we are organising a 5k charity walk on June 14th from Ardagh Community Centre at 12.30 pm.

We would be so grateful for any donations to this cause and for your company on the day to help us complete the walk. Afterwards there will be food, music and stories at the community centre, where we can celebrate Shane’s life, share our memories and remember the joy he brought to all of us.

Every step we take will be for Shane — and for the remarkable care Milford Hospice provides. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us honor him.
