Remembering Serena Jean: A Rainbow Baby
Donation protected
This is their story..
The morning of October 22nd 2023 was one of our happiest days. We took a pregnancy test and found out we were expecting our rainbow baby after a miscarriage in December of 2022.
On February 2nd 2024 - we found out we were expecting our 2nd babygirl and we were all so super excited and over the moon. We were going to have Anna Elsa and Olaf in the house. Jeremey was going to have two princesses to take care of and protect.
I have spent the last 9 months growing and nurturing our sweet beautiful girl. She loved crab legs and jamming out to music in the car, she would dance oh so much when we would be in the car. I referred to her as my dragon baby because well it’s the year of the dragon and in the beginning she wanted all the spicy food which in turn gave me terrible heartburn. The last 9 months of feeling her kicks and rolls and elbows has been an honor. I now yearn to feel those kicks and elbows. We yearn to feel her in our arms and in our home where she should be.
Serena Jean Cubiotti was due today June 24 2024. I was scheduled to deliver her on Friday June 21st 2024. The universe had different plans for us.
On Thursday June 20 2024 at 11:04AM I delivered our stillborn babygirl. She was 6LBS 1.4OZ ,19.5 inches of pure perfection and beauty. We are shattered. The pain that myself, Philip and our children feel is a pain that I never thought existed. We are now left to pick up the pieces of our hearts. And ensure that our daughter lives on forever.
Stillborn and still loved.
