Remembering Sean Denhart

Donation protected
Our hearts are heavy as we grieve the loss of Sean Denhart, an extraordinary son, grandson, coach, teammate, friend, and human who died suddenly of heart failure on Dec. 30. He was 32 years old.
Denhart was many things, among them a star left-handed pitcher, a dedicated baseball coach, and L.A.'s #1 Dolphins fan, but he was first a light in the lives of the people who knew him. He made us laugh. He made us feel valued. As we reflect on his life, no one can remember Denhart ever saying an unkind word about anyone else. No one can think of a single person who didn't like Sean Denhart.
You might know him from Redondo Beach Little League or one of the South Bay joints where he worked as a bartender (Naja's, Barnacle's, Sharkeez Hermosa) so that he could earn money and watch sports at the same time. No matter how you know him, chances are you remember him as a genuine, nice, funny dude who loved life as much as he loved baseball.
We need your help putting together a memorial and funeral to show his mom and grandma how much Denhart meant to us. Please donate, if you are able, so we can cover the costs associated. Thank you, on behalf of Sean's family and friends, for your generosity.
