The unexpected, tragic loss of someone loved so deeply is completely crushing. Scott is loved by so very many: his wife (Erin), children (Joe, Kyra, and Michael), his mother-in-law (Betty), beloved fur babies, and more family and friends than one can count.
If you ever had the pleasure of sharing a conversation with Scott, you know there was excitement, laughter, and some really unique jokes included! It was always a pleasure seeing Scott around, whether he was at the Hilton, Humpy’s, or Lowe’s, at an event outing, cruising around Kona, or at his and Erin’s special sunset spot.
This hole is huge. The hole in our hearts, in our lives, in Kona. Eventually, the love Scott shared with all of us will take over most of the pain, but right now his beautiful, loving family deserves our support. The void Scott’s sudden passing left in their life is so very large. He was their everything, and they his.
Scott was a man who spent his life taking care of others. I’m not sure how many submarine veterans you know, but a decade of being in a Navy submarine doesn’t sound easy. He took care of his country and his family. Hopefully, we can help Erin cover some of the unexpected costs they are facing due to his sudden passing.
If passing the word along and/or sharing this GoFundMe link is how you can help, then thank you. If you can help by donating, thank you.
Nothing will bring Scott back, but hopefully he will smile down upon us knowing that we have his family taken care of for now.
