Scott C. Speaker, son, husband, father, friend; passed away April 13, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Scott was a graduate of University of Maryland. He returned to Washington, DC after living in New York City with his family for 14 years.
Scott was an athlete, music and art lover, fantastic husband and devoted father who had a strong will to live. His love of life was dwarfed only by his wry sense of humor, which kept family, friends, and coworkers in stitches. Scott also loved his work, and left a lasting impact in the energy markets, even founding a new standard unit of measurement for natural gas (moo-boo-too’s).
He is survived by his wife Melody, son Scott T., daughter Sophia M., and a host of relatives and friends.
