Remembering Saydi

El 2 de septiembre nuestra queridísima Saydi de Lira decidió que era hora de que conociera al “Papa Diosito”. Cualquiera que tuviera el privilegio de conocerla sabía que era la guerrera más fuerte y la mejor luchadora que jamás hubieran conocido. Saydi era una niña alegre, amaba a todos con todo su corazón y disfrutaba bailar, pintar, cantar y hacer sonreír a la gente. Sabemos que ella hubiera querido que todos celebremos su vida y el rayo de sol que fue, que la recordemos como la niña pequeña que le prestaba sus juguetes a cualquier persona, la que peinaba tu cabello, te hacía bailar con ella, y te daba el mejor abrazo que jamás hayas recibido. Ella era el alma más brillante de la Tierra y será el ángel más brillante del cielo.

Estos son tiempos sin precedentes, y aunque todos sentimos dolor en nuestros corazones al escuchar la noticia de su fallecimiento, debemos recordar que, por encima de todo, Saydi amaba a su familia. El dinero recaudado de este fondo ayudará a cubrir los gastos que tendrá la familia de Lira en las próximas semanas. Cualquier donación será inmensamente apreciada, gracias por su apoyo y oraciones.




On September 2nd our dearest Saydi de Lira decided that is was time for her to meet “Papa Diosito”. Anyone who had the privilege of meeting her knew that she was the strongest warrior and the best fighter they would ever meet.  Saydi was a joyful child, she loved everyone with the entirety of her heart and enjoyed dancing, painting, singing, and making people smile.  We know that she would want us all to celebrate her life and the ray of sunshine that she was, to remember her as the little girl who would let anyone and everyone borrow her toys, the one that would style your hair,  make you dance with her, and give you the best hug you’ve ever received. She was the brightest soul on Earth and will be the brightest angel in heaven.

These are unprecedented times, and while we all feel grief in our hearts upon hearing the news of her passing, we must remember that above all else, Saydi loved her family. The money raised from this fund will help cover any expenses that the de Lira family will have in the coming weeks.
