Remembering Sara Sunshine: Support Her Loved Ones

I am starting this GoFundMe page to help support the family of Sara Sunshine Rosado. Sara passed away on January 23, 2025, at age 35 after undergoing cancer treatment for the last six years. She is survived by her partner, Brian, and her 9-year-old son, the light of her life, Elliot. As Brian and Elliot adjust to their new normal, Brian will also be pivoting to single parenthood, and the potential cost of that transition combined with hospice, funeral, and memorial expenses will be significant. I am hoping that we will be able to support Brian and Elliot in Sara's honor to allow them both time to grieve and recover without stressing about financial implications.

Sara was a devout advocate for those with disabilities, chronic conditions, and mental health challenges. She cared about her family above all else, and her commitment to improving the lives of those around her, near and far, was and will remain inspiring.
