In loving memory of Sandy & Allan

My name is Tanya and I’m the sister of Sandy Reber & Allan Calhoun

Our family has just experienced the most heartbreaking chain of events On January 17th we got the call that my younger brother Allan had been found in his room passed away. He was gone when EMT arrived and we had no hope in saving him. Fast forward to the evening of January 29th when I received a call telling me my older brother had been rushed to hospital and was on life support in critical condition and I need to get there asap. I couldn’t believe my ears. The day before we had sat down with funeral directors to organize a funeral for my little brother and now I needed to call my mom with this news. Sandy hung on long enough for us to hug him and hold him. Surrounding him with love. We said our goodbyes on January 30th in ICU not even 24 hours after he had arrived at the hospital!

As strong as my mom is this chain of events is taking such a tremendous toll on her heart and mental health. Now left to plan two services for her sons she hasn’t made it back to work and the financial toll is setting in. She resides in Chilliwack , the commute back and forth and being unable to work is causing financial strain and unpaid bills.

Im helping where I can but I am in no place to be able to support her financially through these hard times.

Im not one to ask for help but I have no where els to turn. Both my brothers fathers are passed as well leaving our tiny family behind. Myself , my mom & my disabled younger brother.
