Dan Popescu, who has been Sandu’s closest friend for more than 50 years, has covered all expenses related to Sandu’s passing.

We are unbelievably grateful for his deep loyalty to Sandu and the way he has brought all of us together one more time to celebrate Sandu’s life. Any donation you can afford will help cover the funeral expenses in Paris.

The cremation took place on July 25th at Père Lachaise. Eventually the ashes will rest at Sfânta Vineri cemetery, in Bucharest. There Sandu will forever rest in peace near Irina and the rest of the Bârlădeanu family.
