Remembering Sandra Phillips

Hello, as you may be aware, Sandra Phillips passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 after a long but courageous battle with Heart Disease and Auto Immune Hepatitis. While she battled illness for sometime, her death was somewhat unexpected. She is survived by her mother, Margaret “Peggy” Hudson, 91, whom she resided with and her only daughter, Michelle Pilling. Sandi’s untimely death has become a financial strain on both her mother and her daughter.

As I’m sure you are all aware, end of life and funeral services are extremely expensive which is why we are asking friends, family, and Sandi’s beloved community to help defray the cost of these services.

Sandra loved the town of Lewes - she lived in Lewes for almost her entire life. She enjoyed attending Groome Church, crafting, dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. She had such a kind and generous heart and she loved to have a good time.

Sandra’s final wishes were to be cremated and have a simple service at Groome Church, which will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11:00 am. Her simple requests have come with the price tag of around $5,000 and we need your help to honor her final wishes. Please consider taking a moment and donating to this worthwhile cause.
