Our friend Saloman Alfredo Cruz Jimenez recently lost his life to a sudden workplace accident.

The 38-year-old Shirley resident came to the United States from his birthplace in Guatemala looking for work to fight for and provide for his children. It was his dream that through his everyday efforts they would lack for nothing and could one day be reunited. While that dream is no longer possible we can still honor this love by helping to support those he left behind in this difficult time.

We are collecting donations on behalf of his surviving family both here and in Guatemala.
