Remembering Ryan Zubrin
Donation protected
UPDATE: We appreciate the outpouring of support everyone has shown for Ryan and his family. After discussing in more detail with the Zubrin family with what they'd like to do in terms of a funeral, we've decided to update and raise the goal. As some know, Ryan lived in Florida for 5 years and the family would like to have a memorial for Ryan there as well as a funeral in Pennsylvania. Again, we truly appreciate every donation we've received.
Ryan "ZubieZee" Zubrin passed away unexpectedly on Saturday the 17th 2020. For those of you who were lucky enough to have known Ryan, I'm sure you can agree with me when I tell you that trying to find the right words to describe Ryan is extremely difficult. Ryan had a larger than life persona that naturally attracted people to him. His ability to not let fear or failure hold him back from living life and experiencing the beauty that this world has to offer was truly an inspiration to witness. Pair his persona with his ability to talk to anyone from anywhere at anytime and what you get is a family of people all connected by a common denominator, that was Zubie. As family and friends, its important for us to always remember Ryan by our stories and memories of him. Some of those stories intertwine with each others, while others were just between the two of you, remembering, and talking about these stories will keep the positive energy that Ryan always radiated forever glowing. Although this time will be most difficult for all of us, it could not compare to that of Ryan's mother, Janice. I can't even begin to explain to you the love and devotion that she has for her son Ryan. The bond between the two was so special and will forever be inseparable. Janice was always so understanding of any situation and forgiving of any mistakes that he has ever made. If you were lucky enough to be a friend of Ryan's, you also got the same love and devotion from Janice. She would always help in any time of need or simply be someone to talk to. Please open your hearts to this critical time of need for her as she would do the same for us. Ryan will be truly missed. As a son, as a Father, as a best friend. His memory and contagious personality will forever live in our hearts.
As family and friends of Ryan and Janice, we felt that starting a GoFundMe account will hopefully eliminate the financial stress and worry surrounding this tragic time. As some of you know, Ryan was living in Florida. Money received from this GoFundMe will go towards getting Ryan back to Pennsylvania and allowing Janice to give her son a proper funeral.
