Remembering Robert Feenstra
Donation protected
On Tuesday December 29th, 2020 Robert Feenstra went home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ, he was just 57 years old. Within the past year Robert had an extremely difficult journey in his fight to battle cancer in his mouth.
Robert was a blessing to so many that he interacted with and left a positive impact on many. While we are entirely devastated in this time we find comfort in Jesus Christ. We are overwhelmed with the overwhelming love and support that has poured in within the past 24 hours. To hear the incredible stories of great times people had with Rob during his time on earth has brought us so much joy.
While we were surprised by the initial cancer diagnosis, the journey to attempt to fend off cancer was made extremely challenging by the coronavirus pandemic. While 2020 has been challenging to all of us, it was made increasingly difficult to receive proper medical treatment. Appointments were difficult to come by and constantly pushed back, even the surgery to remove the cancer was rescheduled on multiple occasions. The attempt to receive proper care was made even more challenging by a positive coronavirus test.
While we are all completely heartbroken, we are saddened by the suddenness of how quickly Robert's health deteriorated. Due to all of these circumstances Rob did not have any arrangements prepared. There are many unexpected costs that his family is facing at this time. Our efforts to try and do the best for Robert and give him a proper burial will be costly. Please consider donating anything you can to help with funeral costs and hospital bills,
Please feel free to share your thoughts and stories of Robert. We appreciate anything you can give as well as all of your thoughts and prayers.
