Memorial Fund for the Stroud Family

Colleagues, partners, and friends,
It is with the deepest sadness that I share the fact our Chief Product Officer, Robert Stroud, was tragically killed after being struck by a car on September 3, 2018.
Although Rob was an industry authority, he was foremost a family man with devotion to his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. When Rob joined us at XebiaLabs, we knew we were extremely lucky and privileged to have someone so deeply knowledgeable, not only about DevOps but many other industries as well.
Rob's presence was a defining force throughout the company, as the face of XebiaLabs at countless conference presentations, as a generous contributor who was always willing to jump in, and as a vibrant personality who led his teams with a smile and his quirky Australian accent. In fact, our only concern with Rob was his rabid support for the Minnesota Vikings when he was working deep in New England Patriots territory most of the time.
At the request of Rob’s countless friends and colleagues, we, at XebiaLabs, have set up a memorial fund to assist Rob’s wife and family during this time of profound grief. This is a small way to celebrate his life and show his family how genuinely loved he was by the IT industry. Please consider donating - every little bit helps.
Thank You,
Derek Langone
