It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of my beloved little brother, Ray.

He was a son, a husband, a brother, an uncle, and a great friend to many.

He is survived by his devoted wife Rene, his father Bok, his loving sister Nancy, and his cherished niece and nephew, Lily and Luke.

Ray proudly served as a Major in the U.S. Army, and he dedicated his career to caring for animals as a skilled veterinarian. Outside of work, he had a zest for life—whether it was pushing himself through exercise, motivating others to better themselves, finding clever ways to maximize credit card rewards for travel, or spotting the next bargain rental property to invest in. His boundless curiosity and goofy humor made every interaction memorable.

In honor of Ray’s life, we have created this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of bringing him home to California, his services/memorial in the Bay and travel for the family to attend his military service in Maryland. Any funds remaining will be donated to a veterinary charity in his memory, continuing his lifelong commitment to animals.

Since Ray’s passing, we received many messages and calls of support and well wishes. We appreciate each and every message and story about Ray. We will miss Ray deeply, but we take comfort in knowing his kindness, service, and adventurous spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
