Remembering Ray: A Life of Joy and Nature
Donation protected
UPDATE 7/1/2025 : we want to say thank you to those who have donated! We are truly appreciative of your kindness! We’ve decided to do a living urn for Uncle Ray & plant a tree in his honor at his childhood home so we have somewhere to visit him. This is one of the things your donations did to “remember Ray”. May his honor grow, bud & bloom for countless years to come!

Hi, my name is Michaela Hastings. I am the niece of Raymond “Ray” Brouillette. I am posting on behalf of his siblings Carol, David, and Nancy.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of my uncle, Raymond Brouillette.
Ray was fighting pneumonia and shockingly passed away yesterday, June 26, 2025, peacefully in his sleep with his earbuds in his ears. If you knew my uncle, you knew how much he loved his music. We will forever wonder what the last song he listened to was.
Ray was an outdoorsman. He loved animals; his love for pit bulls and dogs was like no other. He loved nature, running, cycling & the Boston Red Sox. He loved the ocean and all the things that come with it: boating, diving for lobsters, fishing, and quahogging, to name a few.
Ray lived a life he loved, truly finding hobbies that brought him joy. He ran multiple marathons and races, but the Boston Marathon was the one he was most proud of. Ray was the kind of guy who quite literally did anything he put his mind to, even with injuries.
His sudden departure has left our family devastated, heartbroken, at a loss for words, and unprepared for the financial burden that comes with putting him to rest.
We are humbly asking for your support to help cover his celebration of life and final arrangement expenses so we can honor his life and say our final farewell.
Any remaining funds from donations will be donated to animal rescues on his behalf.
