Remembering Raul
Donation protected
Raul's passing has been difficult. Difficult for everyone that knew him.
Raul would do absolutely anything for anybody. Always giving of his time. His attention. He was always the first to offer his hand to help. To stay late to make sure the job got done. I once stored a bicycle in his garage, and when I went to pick it up (a couple of months later), Raul had completely tuned it up, and it ran like new again.

Raul helped people because he wanted to.
Because he was that kind of person.
And as hard as this news has been to process for all of us that worked with him, all of us that were lucky enough to call him our friend... his family is going through an even more painful time. In addition to the enormous emotional loss, they're also tasked (in this time of grieving) with all the real-world logistic and financial challenges that arise from this tragedy.
All of the donated funds go directly to Raul's daughter, Melissa Moreno (whom many of us have always known as Denise), to aide in handling the funeral arraingments.

The goal of this is to help them in some small way. The way Raul would've helped any of us.
Raul touched a lot of people. Our industry creates that opportunity.
It is our hope (Raul's friends, coworkers and fellow instructors) that we might, in some small way, help to aid his family in this most challenging of times.
Please know that If you're not able to donate (and I understand many aren't in a position to), consider simply sharing this link. That would be most helpful.
Thank you all so much.
