Remembering Ranger

Donation protected
This sweet little minx was the official greeter at every horse show and every visit to Andre’ and Tawny’s farm.  He was Tawny’s constant companion, and he always had a ready smile and a love of riding in any car that would have him.  Tragically, at the tender age of 5, he was run over at the May reining show in Raleigh on his way to greet one of his peeps.  He fought valiantly at NC State for two days and nights, but his little body wasn’t as strong as his big heart and his hope of getting back to Tawny and Andre’ to reclaim his greeting duties.  Sadly, he died on Sunday, May 8.  We will all miss him dearly.
Andre’ and Tawny are just starting their reining business, moving all the way across the country from the west coast to make a go of it here in the Southeast.  The vet bills for Ranger are staggering, but Andre’ and Tawny were determined to give him every chance to survive and lead a normal life.
Ranger is happily frolicking across the Rainbow Bridge, with no pain and lots of friends.  Nothing can replace Ranger, but their friends want to try to help them with the vet bills. Will you join me in helping them get out from under this debt so they can focus on building their reining business?  No donation is too small.  I’m making mine in memory of my incorrigible Charlie the Chowhound.  There will never be another one like him, just like there will never be another Ranger.
We all miss you, Ranger.  Hope you find lots of good snacks on all the floorboards of the cars in doggie heaven!
