It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of Salathiel Stovall, known by many as Pookie.

62 years isn't long for many, but for Pookie, it was more than enough time to live such a fulfilled life. Pookie was a beloved son, father, uncle, cousin and friend to many. Although life threw many challenges his way, it never deterred him from making lasting impressions in the lives of others. He was the life of any party he attended, and he was the kind of person who would lift your spirits in an instant. He loved to share stories about his family and always made sure we knew where we came from. He always told us to keep it "sucka free", in his words!

This loss has left a hole in the hearts of many.

We are raising funds to help with Pookies homegoing services. Any contribution, big or small is deeply appreciated. Pookie's impact on the world will live on in the hearts and spirits of anyone who had the privilege to meet him.
