Hello, I'm Theresa Marciante, and I'm writing this with a heart full of love and gratitude. My cat, Piper, was more than a pet - she was my daughter Alexis's loyal companion for the past 9 years, bringing her comfort and joy every day. She was a beloved member of our family, and her brother and litter mate, Oreo, is missing her dearly. He is wandering around looking for her. Although she recently passed away Saturday, July 12 at 1 pm , following an emergency surgery the night before , her memory will live on in our hearts. We did everything we could to save her, and I'm so grateful for the vet team's efforts. Losing her has been extremely tough on all of us Alexis especially . When Piper became ill these past couple days, we were faced with a difficult decision, but we chose to pursue surgery, hoping for the best. Although it didn't work out, I know we made the right choice. Now, we're left with cherished memories and an $1,707 veterinary bill, but I'm determined to find a way to cover it, knowing it's a small price to pay for the time we had with Piper.
