It is with the utmost sadness to announce that we have lost our beloved family member, Philip Purnell to the havoc wreaking virus that is known as Covid-19.
The loss of Uncle Phil is sudden, tragic, and one of the most devastatingly heartbreaking losses this family has suffered since burying his mother in law, what was only about a month ago. The pain this family has suffered over the past few months has been absolutely unbearable.
Uncle Phil, a devoted husband, father, brother, son-in-law and friend, was well known for his kind and caring heart. He would drop anything to be there for anyone, all you had to do was call. Phil was there at the drop of a hat, ready and willing to go above and beyond for those he loved, and never asked for anything in return.
And now, it is our turn... To be there for him and his family. If anyone on this earth deserved a helping hand, it is Phil.
We ask on Phil's behalf, if you are able to help his family get through this difficult time, PLEASE do. Anything will help at this time.
His wife, Cherie Purnell, and son Jacob Purnell, are suffering a tremendous loss and could use all the help they can get as they try to navigate these expenses while in the midst of grief, pain and an aching loss.
When times were hard, you could always ask Phil, and you were always greeted with a smile and a genuine helping hand. I only hope we can show up for him this final and last time of need, as he would have done for us.
Phil will be severely missed, and we are left with such a void that can never be filled.
Rest in Heaven Uncle Phil, we love you!
And thank you in advance to anyone who is able to help make this just a little bit easier on his family!
