Remembering Phil 'Bing' Miller
Remembering Phil Bing Miller
Phil passed away suddenly on Christmas morning. Phil was a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, teacher, coach, and friend.
Born and raised in North Andover, Phil graduated from North Andover High School in 1972 and was a star and captain of the football team. He went on to play football at Bucknell University. He earned his degree and dedicated his career to teaching, spending the majority of his tenure at the Bruce School in Lawrence.
His love for football continued and he coached many years at North Andover High School and Bentley University. Most recently, he coached the freshman NAHS team with his son Michael.
Phil loved to travel and more than anything spending time with his wife Peggy and his three sons; Philip, Michael, and Andrew. He enjoyed all Boston sports teams, but football was his passion. He loved going to games with his kids.
Let us all remember the amazing times we had with Phil, and help his family focus on each other and not worrying about the financial worries. Let's step up like it's 4th and 1! All funds will go to his wife Peggy for the costs for his funeral and support for his family during this difficult time.
