Remembering Pete Baleisuva: Family Burial Support

Donation protected
Dear Community/Supporters,

We, the Fijian community in Tamworth and Newcastle, come to you with heavy hearts, seeking your kind support during this incredibly difficult time. Our dear friend Apete Baleisuva, fondly known as Pete or Patt, tragically lost his life in a drowning accident at Newcastle Beach last Saturday, leaving behind his young family. As we gather to mourn his untimely loss, our utmost priority is ensuring the well-being of his family.

Pete was a remarkable young man, known for his boundless generosity and willingness to help those in need within his community. Whether it was lending a helping hand or being the first to respond, Pete's compassionate spirit was unwavering. In 2020, he left Fiji in pursuit of better opportunities for his young family and found himself working in Australia. Pete was humble, selfless, and had a cheeky personality that endeared him to everyone. He cherished his family, friends, rugby, church, and singing. The sudden loss of Pete has deeply impacted our community.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you will directly alleviate the financial burden faced by Pete's family, enabling them to navigate the repatriation process without added stress. Your generous support will not only assist with the logistical expenses but also provide solace to the family, knowing that their beloved Pete can return home with dignity and respect.

No matter the size, every donation holds significant meaning and is sincerely appreciated. We humbly invite you to join us in honoring Pete's memory and providing support to his family during this challenging time. Together, we can offer the care and comfort they need as they navigate through their grief and bid farewell to their beloved Pete in Fiji.

Thank you for your compassion, generosity, and consideration. Your contribution will have a lasting impact, providing much-needed support to Pete's family during this heart-wrenching journey.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Pete's Australian Fijian Community
and
The Apete Baleisuva Family
