It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of a remarkable man, Pedro Gómez Laguna who touched so many lives. He was not only a devoted husband, a loving father, a supportive brother, a cherished uncle, and a doting grandfather, but also a truly kind and generous soul.

He lived his life with unwavering dedication, both to his beloved family and to his community church, where he was a devoted member. He found immense joy in the simple pleasures, whether it was passionately cheering on his favorite Dodgers or savoring a delicious meal, especially seafood, which he adored.

His life, however, was also marked by an extraordinary battle with heart disease. He faced his first major challenge at the young age of 28, undergoing open-heart surgery. Despite this early hardship, he fought bravely, and miraculously, at age 42, he endured a second open-heart surgery. Through incredible resilience and, as he often believed, by the grace of God, he was granted another chance at life, which he cherished and lived to the fullest.

Tragically, in November of last year, his world was irrevocably shaken when he lost his youngest son, who sadly and unexpectedly passed away from pneumonia. This profound loss took an immense toll on him, and his health began to decline rapidly thereafter. His valiant heart, which had endured so much, finally gave out.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering spirit that will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
