Remembering Paulo Machado

Hello everyone, I’ve started this fundraiser to collect donations for funeral services & future masses in memory of him. Flowers are appreciated but since he will not be buried we unfortunately have nowhere to put them.

Going with my fathers wishes he never liked the idea of sadness or dwelling to much on the fact of someone no longer being here but celebrating a persons life and the impact that person made. Negatively was never ever ever something he focused on.

So let’s remember the good times and the good times only.

Paulo Jorge Gouveia Machado, 56, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. He was born in Vila Nova de Tazem, Gouveia, Portugal and immigrated to the US in 1988, resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark, before settling in Union, NJ.

Paulo was a Regional Vice President for Primerica for over 30 years.

Loving son of Carlos and Maria Fernanda Machado; beloved husband of Manuela Videira Machado; dear brother of Anabela Costa and her husband Pedro; devoted and loving father of Michael Videira Machado and his wife Marina, Lisa-Marie Videira Machado and her husband Nuno Rodrigues and Susie Videira Machado; cherished grandfather of Mason and Mateo Machado; also survived by many dear nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

The Funeral Mass for Paulo will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Newark, NJ.
