Remembering Patti Jo Dahl-Busse
Donation protected

On Thursday, December 6th, 2018 PattiJo Busse (Dahl) gained her angel wings unexpectedly at 53. She had fell in her room late at night and was rushed to the Emergency Room via ambulance where they discovered her condition was much more severe and had airlifted her to the Mayo Hospital in Rochester, MN. She had a massive brain aneurysm burst (Subarachnoid Hemmorage). Complications from the brain swelling also damaged her heart and lungs. We were not ready to give up on her as she’s a fighter and has had many miracles with her health in the past. We were able to put a coil on the hemorrhage and drain her brain and lung to relieve the pressure. However on day 3 of being in the Neurology ICU her bowels started to shut down due to an infection in her blood.
Patti lived a rough life being 100% disabled since the age of 39 due to a motorcycle accident. She was unable to work and therefore was living off of minimal social security and state insurance. She did not have life insurance or savings funds for emergency expenses.
All funds raised will go towards paying her medical bills and funeral expenses as well as relief to her husband for living expenses during his grieving period.
Patti was young, vibrant, joyful, beautiful, carefree. She was just radiating. She lived 14 years of her life in pain, but when she was surrounded with family and friends you’d barely be able to tell. She found the good and loved every person she met. Making everyone feel welcomed, special and loved. She’s accepted all walks of life and embraced them as her own. She was an angel on earth and now she’s an angel in heaven.
Her memorial will be held on Wednesday, December 12th from 4 to 7 with sharing of memories starting at 6 at Lundberg Funeral home in Cannon Falls
Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words. If you’re unable to donate at this time, please share this link.
