Hello Friends!
I’m here asking everyone to remember the wonderful cop that Pat Kelly was. I still haven’t paid most of the funeral. I truly appreciate everyone’s help if they can remember what a wonderful cop she was in a wonderful friend. If in your kindness, would you help me out. I need to pay it as soon as possible.
She was the best partner anyone in the 47 could have asked for. She truly was a cop cops. Always had her partners back and defended her friends and family to no end. She was known as “the blue eyed devil” on the streets. No one messed with Pat Kelly. She never took no for an answer even when she was pregnant with me. She served in 9/11 and faithfully did her job no matter how tired she was. She truly taught me what matters and what doesn’t.
my mother truly lived and breathe the job. Every day she told me stories about the good old days. She told me how the Jamaicans called to the blue eyed devil. She told me stories about Pat McCormick saying “333”. She told me stories about Hector and Wally Weaver. She talked about how the Sergeant wanted Kai. To talk to the guy, but the guy spoke Chinese. He is not Korean. There was always a story to be told and a laughed to be shared. We always watch Blue Bloods together. Gianna and Victoria are fascinated by the cop cars. Victoria knows that Nana is my mommy and she talks about her even to this day. Pat Kelly was one of a kind. She made a lasting impact on this world.
My mother suffered greatly the past couple years. She developed lung cancer, COPD and emphysema. Her lung cancer turned into stage four in the past couple of months and then we found out on Halloween that she had a tumor on her brain. She was totally in love with the idea that we would go see the trains in the botanical Gardens and going to train ride with Santa for her beautiful granddaughters, Gianna and Victoria. She always put others first.
My mother lived long enough to see Gianna turned four and then she passed away just a few hours later. And her final days I had a crucifix and a picture of Gianna. my mother loved me so very much and always wanted the best for me.
Any donations—no matter how small—will go directly to helping us give my mother the dignified and loving service she deserves. I also also asking for your prayers for strength and peace during this time. Thank you for your generosity, kindness, and support.
With the most heartfelt gratitude and my faith in the Lord.
Sincerely her beloved daughter,
Katherine
