Papa Dave's Memorial Fund

February 2025 -

Our "Papa Dave" has gained his wings, and heaven has gained one amazing angel. While our hearts are hurting, we know that Dave is with the Lord, and he is officially cancer free!

We are reminding ourselves of Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."

Our family wants to send a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who has prayed and lent a helping hand during this difficult time.

This diagnosis has taken a toll on so many lives close to Dave and our greatest desire is to provide Patty with as much support and love as we possibly can as she navigates her new "normal". We are continuing to raise money to assist Patty in paying a tremendous amount of medical bills that have stacked up over the last several months as well as Celebration of Life expenses.

September 2024 -

Our beloved friend, husband, father, and last but not least, our "Papa Dave" - was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Pathology reports have come back that it is a malignant Glioblastoma. Currently, we are setting up appointments at specialty facilities and having extensive conversations with doctors to go over potential treatment plans. Most importantly, we are praying for the ultimate Physician to heal, restore, and deliver Dave from this diagnosis, in Jesus' name. Medical statistics describe this as the most aggressive form of brain cancer, but we believe in miracles and are putting this 100% in God's hands. We ask that anyone reading this post continue to pray, believe, and have faith WITH us that the tumor is not as aggressive as the doctors say. There is nothing He cannot do!

As some of you may know, Dave and Patty are small business owners. With that being said, income has come to an abrupt halt while out of pocket medical bills, travel expenses, and much more are rearing their heads.

The next few days will be full of local appointments then he will be off to Tampa to see a specialty neurosurgeon at Moffitt Cancer Center. Our resources are being stretched far and wide to find Dave the best medical care possible.
