Dear friends and family,

We are saddened to share that Joyce’s mom, Nicolasa Ayabar, passed away on April 1st, 2025. She spent the last two months in the hospital, fighting with all her strength to stay alive, but unfortunately her heart complications were too much to overcome. Our hearts are broken by her loss, and our home will never be the same.

Nico, as most knew her, was a caring and loving person who always made sure that everyone was taken care of. She was a beloved aunt, sister, daughter, and—most especially—a devoted mother.

As we grieve this immense loss, we ask for your prayers, support, and love. If you’re able to donate, anything you can contribute will help us give Nico the farewell she truly deserves.

Queridos amigos y familia:

Nos entristece compartir que la mamá de Joyce, Nicolasa Ayabar, falleció el 1 de abril de 2025. Pasó los últimos dos meses en el hospital, luchando con todas sus fuerzas para vivir, pero desafortunadamente sus complicaciones del corazón fueron demasiadas para superar. Nuestros corazones están rotos por su partida, y nuestro hogar nunca será el mismo sin ella.

Nico, como la mayoría la conocía, era una persona cariñosa y amorosa que siempre se aseguraba que todos estuvieran bien cuidados. Fue una tía, hermana, hija y, sobre todo, una madre muy querida.

Mientras lamentamos esta inmensa pérdida, les pedimos sus oraciones, su apoyo y su amor. Si pueden hacer una donación, cualquier aporte nos ayudará a darle a Nico la despedida que verdaderamente merece.
