Remembering Nick's Light and Laughter

On June 12th, the world lost a bright light far too soon. Nick Boutin passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a community of loved ones who are devastated by his loss.

Nick was more than a son, brother, and partner—he was a true friend to so many. He brought warmth, laughter, and compassion wherever he went. If you knew Nick, you knew his heart. He had a way of lighting up every room, lifting spirits with his humor, kindness, and his one-of-a-kind ability to make people laugh—even on their hardest days. To so many, he was the friend who checked in, the co-worker who cracked the perfect joke, the family member who could always be counted on.

He was deeply loved by his parents, Tim and Angie, his siblings Zac, Tyler, and Abbi, his girlfriend Hailie, his extended family, lifelong friends, and his incredible team at Regions Emergency Department, where he was not only a valued colleague but truly family.

As Nick's loved ones navigate this unimaginable heartbreak, we are hoping to ease some of the financial burden that comes with such a sudden and tragic loss.
