An avid gamer and anime enthusiast, Nick Parks was a friend you could rely on as a solid teammate and an excellent pop culture connoisseur. Whether it was discussing the latest critical role lore, the upcoming version release for Dead by Daylight, or the new Demon Slayer movie, Nick’s quiet reticence would fade and he’d light up the room. His passing on Monday October 13th has been unexpected and tragic. We mourn his dark humor and quick teasing. Knowing Nick and having him as a steadfast friend has been a gift and we cherish the memories we’ve made with him as coworkers, fellow gamers, and family.

In order to honor his memory, this memorial fundraiser has been established to make a donation to the Critical Role Foundation. The CRF grants donations to partner charities that serve a variety of causes including First Nations, LGBTQ+, women in STEM, children in underserved communities, and emergency relief funds. Critical Role Foundation is tied to one of Nicks many interests - the Critical Role Dungeons and Dragons Community - and is an organization aligned with the values and character Nick exemplified in his relationships with others.
