Remembering Nick Harrison

Nick was sensitive, caring, and humble. His love for animals was illustrative of the kindness that touched everyone he knew. When he laughed or smiled, it was infectious.
It breaks my heart to lose my big brother, Nick, my first best friend. At fifteen months apart, we did everything together. Even now, we were both beginning our lives. Just last week, Nick had talked of going back to school, and was making plans for the future. He sounded so full of hope. While it is inevitable that one sibling will one day bury the other, I would never have imagined we would be planning Nick’s funeral so soon.
Nick passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 4, 2018. He was 31 years old. With no life insurance or savings, our family is looking for a way to honor his life meaningfully. Anything you could contribute would mean the world to Nick and our family.
