We are heartbroken to share that we recently lost our beloved classmate, Nicholas Helmering. Nicholas had a warmth and kindness that touched the lives of everyone around him and made a lasting impact on our school community. To honor his memory and ensure he is remembered in our yearbook, we are raising funds to create a senior ad memorial tribute as a gift from the Class of 2026.

Our immediate goal is $350 to cover the cost of Nicholas’s memorial ad. We are dedicated to moving forward with creating this lasting tribute for him. We are also hoping to honor another classmate we lost and are currently in communication with their family about the possibility of including a memorial tribute for them as well.

Any additional funds raised will help support these memorial efforts, and if we are unable to proceed with the second tribute, those funds will be set aside to begin a fund for future students and families facing similar circumstances. While we sincerely hope our community never has to face this heartbreak again, we want to be prepared to support families during these difficult times and ensure every student is remembered and honored. This initiative will serve as the foundation for ongoing memorial support, with the goal that our school will eventually establish their own funding program for these important tributes.

Nicholas deserves to be celebrated and remembered alongside his graduating class.
