In Loving Memory of Nicholas Franklin Njuki
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Nicholas Franklin Njuki. Nicholas was a cherished son, brother, family member, friend, coach, and mentor whose life touched so many people.
We are asking for the support of our family, friends, and community as we come together to honor Nicholas and give him the farewell he deserves. We are raising funds to help with his funeral arrangements during this incredibly difficult time.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help our family with the funeral arrangements and allow us to properly honor and lay Nicholas to rest.
Nicholas Franklin Njuki was born on August 5, 1993, in Washington, D.C., and grew up in Montgomery County, Maryland. Nick was passionate, driven, confident, and deeply loyal to the people he loved.
Soccer was a major part of Nick’s life from an early age. At Quince Orchard High School, he was a three-year starter, three-time team MVP, All-Montgomery County selection, and Montgomery County Senior All-Star. He led the team in goals as a senior and finished as the second-leading goal scorer in Quince Orchard history. He also helped lead the Cougars to the regional semifinals.
Nick continued his playing career at James Madison University, where he was part of a CAA Championship and NCAA Sweet Sixteen team, and later graduated from Salisbury University in 2019. He also competed internationally, including trials in Spain.
Nick went on to share his passion for soccer as a coach with organizations including Bethesda and DC United, taking pride in helping young athletes grow both on and off the field.
Outside of soccer, Nick loved UFC, boxing, fitness, music, FIFA, Liverpool Football Club, and spending time with family and friends. He was loyal, protective, thoughtful, and always encouraged the people around him to work hard and pursue their goals.
Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and generosity during this heartbreaking time. We are deeply grateful for everyone who has reached out and stood beside our family.
Rest peacefully, Nicholas. You will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten.
