We are reaching out to our NY Health family to support our beloved colleague Anna Oglesby during a deeply difficult time. Anna’s father, Nelson Torres, proudly served in the United States Army Infantry during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1967. He earned the rank of Specialist 4th Class and was awarded numerous honors, including the Parachute Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

As Anna and her family navigate the emotional and financial challenges of laying a hero to rest, we’ve created a GoFundMe to help ease the burden of funeral expenses.
