Remembering Nathan "Ellie" Katt
My name is Brian Katt I'm an Iraq combat vet and I'm here to talk about my son Nathan "Ellie" Katt. Nathan took his life the evening of Thursday July 16th. Being a vet I have seen alot and been through alot but this is one of the worst I've been through.
Nathan had just moved home a couple months ago and seemed to be enjoying his life once again. Not being judged or criticized about his beliefs anymore, just living his life and what seemed to be him enjoying it.
Nathan and I started working on my old Belair together. He was so excited and proud to be a part of that. Nathan was a young man of many talents such as cooking, baking and music. He was the best cook and baker I'd ever been around! He loved music and was a self taught musician. That's right, self taught! He would watch YouTube videos about how to play the guitar and practice them until he got them right! I was and will always be so proud of him.
Nathan was finally getting his life back on track, or so we thought. We will never know what was going on in his head but we can hope and pray that he is resting in peace.
Nathan left behind a step mom, four young brothers, two sisters, me and lots of friends. He will be greatly missed.
Proceeds from this campaign will go to final expenses and funeral services for Nathan Katt. Funeral arrangements made by Nathan’s Grandparents Dave and Lisa Katt.
