Remembering Natalie Wochele

Dear Friends & Colleagues,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Natalie Wochele. Natalie suffered a heart attack on February 13th and despite the best efforts to fight her critical conditions, she passed away on February 27th.

Natalie was an exceptional professional and like many, became a friend, a talented and valuable member of our Siemens Community at IT Digital Foundation, Portfolio Services, a beloved wife, a devoted mother, and a caring pet parent. We will miss her deeply, and her legacy will remain with us forever.

Unfortunately, Natalie's unexpected passing has brought her wife Laurie and 6-month-old daughter into a difficult financial situation. Natalie was the sole provider for her family, and her passing left Laurie with no income. This change of life event in the family has caused a huge burden for Laurie to provide for their family's basic needs, including the expenses for taking care of their six-month-old daughter Mia with no health or education plans, 5 dogs and puppies, and paying the mortgage on their new house in Colorado that they hadn’t even got a chance to move into yet.

As we commemorate Natalie together, we are reaching out to you today to ask for your help in supporting Natalie's family during this difficult time. Today, we are setting up a fundraiser to help Laurie go through financial difficulty for their family.

Please consider making a donation to help support Laurie, Mia, and the dogs and puppies that Natalie loved so much. Any amount you can give will make a difference. Together, we can help ease the burden that Laurie and her family are facing and honor Natalie's memory.

In Honor of Natalie Wochele:

Natalie was a cheerful, caring, and enthusiastic 46-year-old individual living in Arizona with her wife, Laurie, and their 6-month-old daughter, Mia, as well as their 5 dogs and puppies. She grew up in Brazil and had been living in the US for the past 30 years.

Natalie was born in Venezuela and spent her early childhood in Salvador, Brazil. She enjoyed the natural beauty of the stunning coastal beaches, having delightful conversations with the friendly people, and appreciating the great music and food that the city had to offer.

Starting her career in finance, Natalie later moved to IT as a business analyst 13 years ago. Eventually, she discovered her passion for project management and joined Siemens in July 2022. Prior to that, Natalie had spent the past 16 years working in biotech.

Aside from her work, Natalie was a lover of dogs and food. She enjoyed taking care of her Golden Retrievers and loved sharing delicious meals with her loved ones and engaged in delightful conversations with others. We will always cherish Natalie’s open-mindedness, her energy for teamwork, her determination to embrace challenges, and the positive impacts she made on so many of our lives.
