Remembering Murphy Feenan
Donation protected
No parent should ever have to organise a funeral for their own child, let alone carry the financial burden that comes with such grief.
On Friday the 4th of June, the world lost one of its brightest stars. Murphy Feenan, a teenager loved by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him, tragically took his own life while leaving behind two adoring parents, three siblings and an abundance of mates.
Murphy epitomised the perfect mate; he made time for everyone he knew, stood by his friends around every turn in life and gave everything for those he loved. He was the brightest light in the room, no matter the situation, and always wore the most infectious smile on his face everywhere he went. Those close to him would usually either find him earing through the bushes in his beloved Navara, laughing and joking all the way through work, or being there for his mates every single moment they needed him. No one could possibly put into words how much he meant and how much he helped everyone around him.

This brings us to why this fundraiser was created. No parent should ever have to deal with the emotional toll that comes with the death of a child, no matter the circumstance. Relieving the financial pressure that has come to the family will help with allowing his loved ones to try deal with the loss just that little bit easier. We don't have a fundraising target because no amount of money could make up for what has happened, however, we hope that we can raise enough to simply help the family get back on their feet and help give Murphy the send off he really deserves. All money raised through this page will go directly to his mother, Donna, and will help cover expenses during this time. None of the money raised will go to or through myself.

If you, or anyone you know, is dealing with suicidal thoughts or just need someone to talk to, please reach out to the plethora of services that can help or start a discussion with your mates.
Let's ensure Murphy is the last one.
