Remembering Mrs. Renee

Summarizing the life of such a wonderful woman is difficult.  As many of you know, Mrs. Renee Beam Wilson was taken from this world Friday November 30, 2018, as the result of an automobile accident.  Although she had lived and loved life to the fullest, it seems like it was cut so short. FEARLESS. Nearing 30 years of marriage, she and her husband Thomas have two sons ,Kevin and Jace, and a wonderful daughter-in-law expecting their first grandson, J.J., in January who is already so deeply loved.  Mrs. Renee always put God and the salvation of others first, her family second, and the love for her students and community also came before herself. FAITH. She spent many years pouring the love of Jesus into hundreds of students between Kemp High School, Woden High school, and Nacogdoches Christian Academy. LOVE. Mrs. Renee never let any kids slip through the cracks, go unseen, or feel like no one was fighting for them. FIGHTER. She even worked with a program in town to help individuals reach their dreams through achieving their GEDs. She not only fought for her students and friends, she fought for her family. FAMILY. At a young age, their oldest son, Kevin, was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis and has undergone many surgeries. STRONG. Kevin is legally blind, has internal tumors, and suffers from seizures. In the recent years, Mrs. Renee resigned from teaching to devote her time and love to Kevin to meet his medical needs, be his caretaker, and also help him achieve his dream of being a chef. She aided in the launch of his own blog and home based restaurant. SELFLESS. Mrs. Renee was always on top of everything; she set up doctors appointments, never took no for an answer, and had faith in God’s healing hand like no other. Her smile was contagious and laugh would turn any grey sky to blue. Mrs. Renee always lended a helping had and gave her all to anyone in need. GIVING. This fundraiser was set up in memory of Mrs. Renee to aid her family financially when their sky is grey. INSPIRING. You might think you can prepare for times like this, but that’s not the case. On top of the many expenses of this tragedy, they still have Kevin’s many monthly medications, appointments, and needs that still have to be met. Please, let’s do all we can to help her family pick up the pieces from this emotionally and financially shattering time. Any gift is appreciated to show our love for a woman who showed love to so many of us.

You changed this world, Mrs. Renee.

You were so LOVED and you’re already so MISSED.
