Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time. On Friday, October 17th, my mom was admitted to Vanderbilt Hospital, where a CT scan revealed she suffered an anoxic brain injury. Since then, we have been hopeful but also faced the harsh reality of her condition. Despite our prayers, the latest EEG shows no signs of improvement. We all agree that she wouldn’t want to live connected to machines indefinitely. We are saying our final goodbyes today.
