Remembering Mike Gomez
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael “Hawaiian Mike” Gomez. On September 22, 2020, Mike was found peacefully resting in his van, unresponsive. He was a father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Most of all he was a talented musician who loved bringing joy to people with his music.
Being of Hawaiian descent, he wanted his ashes to be spread in the pacific ocean, to be brought back home to Hawai’i. While we will fulfill his final wishes at a later date once travel is safe, we are creating this campaign to assist with urgent needs of the family, which are mortuary expenses and cremation fees.
We want to thank all those who expressed generosity through their assistance to our family during this time.
“Though the song has ended, the melody lives on.”
We love you dad.
